Louisville Public Library

Case Study

A new chapter begins at the Louisville Public Library. We were proud to play a part in the grand opening.

We worked closely with the library team and architects to help select furniture, finishes, and fabrics that complement the space. Our team had the pleasure of furnishing the entire new library. Everything from functional worktables, storage units, outdoor furniture, shelving, signage and window coverings! The result is a cohesive, inviting environment that is as practical as it is welcoming.

We also added a family workstation from TMC Furniture, designed to give parents a place to focus while keeping babies and toddlers safely engaged nearby. It’s a great example of how design can bring comfort, flexibility, and inclusivity to community spaces.

We truly enjoyed working with the Louisville Public Library team and can’t wait to see their patrons make the most of this vibrant new space!

Brock Hutchison, Library Director at Louisville Public Library, shared:
“CSI was brought in early to help us plan all of our furniture, shelving, and signage needs. Shelving is always one of the biggest challenges for any library—will everything fit, and if so, how? The Contract Source team spent a great deal of time with us mapping it all out to ensure everything worked exactly as intended. Their team is dedicated, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in their projects. We’re so appreciative of everything CSI did to make ours a success.”
